A family adventure
It was in the mid-1930s that Pierre Couvreur bought his first vines and cultivated his first vines. He passed on his passion to his daughter Ginette who took over the business with her husband Jean-Marie Beurton. This is how Champagne Beurton Couvreur was born.
Since 2006, Dominique their son, directs the exploitation and perpetuates this incomparable know-how. to produce champagnes of excellence and tradition.
A few more years to let Ambre follow in his father's footsteps or not.
A prestigious terroir
Located in Rilly-la-Montagne, a village classified as a Premier Cru, Champagne Beurton Couvreur cultivates the three Champagne grape varieties spread over 6 hectares.
Our hillsides are located on a dominant northeast, which requires a later harvest but also more generous and brings out in our Champagnes the taste of a clay-limestone soil.
The harvest is done by hand in order to select the most beautiful bunches and thus make 100% cuvée champagnes, the best juices.
A well-asserted style
A wonderfully located vineyard, grapes produced with passion, meticulous blending and prolonged aging in cellars give our Champagnes authenticity, balance and character.
We are keen to sparkle your moments of happiness and make you discover our work and the specifics of our Champagnes.
